Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Skari service ("Service") operated by Skari Inc. ("Company"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Chapter 1 — General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and its members in connection with the use of the Service, and other matters necessary for its operation.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:
- "Service" means the statistical analysis, machine learning modeling, AI-powered analysis recommendation, survey, and related features provided by the Company, together with all associated services.
- "Member" means a person who has agreed to these Terms, entered into a service agreement with the Company, and holds an account.
- "User" means, collectively, Members and non-members who access and use the Service under these Terms.
- "User Data" means the data a Member uploads to the Service and the results of its analysis.
- "AI Features" means the features within the Service that use AI language models to provide analysis recommendations, interpretation summaries, code generation, and similar functions.
Article 3 (Posting & Amendment of Terms)
The Company posts these Terms on the Service’s initial screen or a linked page so that Members can easily review them. The Company may amend these Terms; when it does, it will announce the content and effective date of the change at least 7 days before the change takes effect, via email or an in-Service notice. However, if the change involves a fee increase or is otherwise unfavorable to Members, individual notice by email will be given at least 30 days in advance.
Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and delete your account before the effective date of the change.
Article 4 (Other Rules)
Matters not specified in these Terms are governed by applicable law and the Company’s individual service operating policies.
Chapter 2 — Formation of the Service Agreement
Article 5 (Formation of the Agreement)
The service agreement is formed when a user applies for membership and the Company accepts the application. These Terms apply from the moment the account is created.
Article 6 (Membership & Eligibility)
- You must create an account to use the Service and must be at least 14 years old, or the minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date account information.
- Sharing a single account among multiple individuals is prohibited (except under Team plans).
Article 7 (Managing Your Account Information)
- You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
- You must notify the Company immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
Chapter 3 — Provision of the Service
Article 8 (Services Provided)
Skari is a cloud-based SaaS platform offering statistical analysis, machine learning modeling, data visualization, and AI-powered analysis recommendations. The Service includes:
- 60+ statistical analysis tools (regression, clustering, time-series, etc.)
- Machine learning model training and comparison (Model Lab)
- AI-powered analysis recommendations and interpretation assistance (AI-generated content is for reference only and does not replace professional judgment)
- Integration with public datasets and user data uploads
- Saving, sharing, and exporting analysis results
Article 9 (Changes to & Discontinuation of the Service)
- The Company may modify or discontinue all or part of the Service as required for operational or technical reasons.
- Significant changes or service termination will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notice.
- The Company may temporarily suspend the Service due to unavoidable reasons such as scheduled maintenance, security incidents, natural disasters, or power outages. In such cases, the Company will notify users without undue delay after the suspension occurs; for planned maintenance, notice will be given at least 14 days in advance.
- The Company shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service, except for liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Article 10 (Service Restriction & Suspension)
The Company may restrict or suspend your account without prior notice in any of the following circumstances. Service will be restored promptly once the cause is resolved.
- Violation of the prohibited acts in Article 17
- Acts that pose a material threat to the security of the Service systems or network
- Use of another person's account or use of the Service with false information
- Violation of applicable law or interference with the Company's normal operations
The Company will notify you of the restriction or suspension and its reasons without undue delay after taking such action. Your obligation to pay fees accrued during a suspension period is not waived.
Chapter 4 — Use of Paid Services
Article 11 (Payment & Auto-Renewal)
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed via Stripe.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time in Settings before the renewal date.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days' prior notice; changes apply to existing subscribers from the next billing cycle.
- Free trial periods are not charged; paid billing may begin automatically after the trial ends.
Article 12 (Failed Payment Handling)
- If payment fails, the Company will automatically retry once per day for 10 days.
- The Service remains fully accessible during the retry period.
- If all retries fail, the subscription is automatically cancelled. Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, during which you may reactivate by updating your payment method and resubscribing to recover your data.
- After the 30-day retention period, data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Article 13 (Refunds)
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable.
- Exceptions — full or pro-rated refunds are available in the following cases:
- You have not used the Service at all within 7 days of payment — full refund
- The Company is unable to provide the Service due to its own fault (service outage, critical defect, etc.) — pro-rated refund for the remaining period
- Applicable law (e.g. E-Commerce Act, Consumer Protection Act) requires a refund
- To request a refund, contact us at support@skari.ai.
Chapter 5 — Data & AI Features
Article 14 (User Data)
You retain all rights to the data you upload to the Service ("User Data"). The Company processes User Data solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
- You warrant that you have lawful rights to any data you upload.
- You must comply with applicable laws when uploading data containing personal information, sensitive data, or third-party trade secrets.
- The Company does not use User Data to train its own AI models unless you have explicitly opted in (see Settings > Privacy > Usage Analytics).
- Statistical analysis results are for informational purposes only and should not be solely relied upon for investment, medical, legal, or other professional decisions.
Article 15 (Conditions for Using AI Features)
The Service includes AI language model-powered features such as analysis recommendations, interpretation summaries, and code generation. When using AI features, you acknowledge:
- AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete and does not replace professional expert review.
- Data you input into AI features may be transmitted to third-party AI service providers (e.g., Google). Do not input sensitive personal information or trade secrets into AI features.
- You are responsible for verifying AI-generated analyses, code, and reports before relying on them.
- The Company makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content.
- AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, or biases.
Article 16 (Surveys & Respondent Data)
The Service lets you create and distribute surveys to collect and analyze responses. As a survey creator, you are solely responsible for:
- Lawful collection and use of the response data you gather, and obtaining consent from respondents. When collecting sensitive or unique-identifier data, you must comply with applicable law (e.g. Korea's PIPA).
- Informing respondents of the purpose, items, and retention of collection and obtaining consent where required. (The Service provides aids such as a consent screen, sensitive-question masking, and an anonymous option, but final legal responsibility rests with you.)
- For survey response data, you act as the data controller and the Company as a processor.
- If you run AI analysis on open-ended answers, acknowledging that answer content may be sent to an AI provider, and obtaining any consent needed for that.
- Not creating surveys that are unlawful or infringe third-party rights (e.g. unlawful data collection, fraud, discrimination).
Chapter 6 — Obligations of the Parties
Article 17 (User Obligations & Prohibited Use)
You may not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of third-party rights
- Probe, exploit, or attempt unauthorized access to security vulnerabilities
- Use automated means to excessively access or scrape the Service
- Upload data containing illegal content, malware, or viruses
- Reverse engineer or attempt to obtain the source code of the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without authorization
- Impersonate others or register with false identity
- Use AI features to generate misinformation, hate speech, or illegal content
If your violation of these prohibitions causes damage to the Company, you are liable for such damages. If a third party brings a claim against the Company arising from your violation, you must cooperate fully in resolving the matter and indemnify the Company for any resulting loss.
Chapter 7 — Intellectual Property
Article 18 (Intellectual Property)
- All intellectual property rights in the Service itself (software, UI, brand, algorithms, etc.) belong to the Company.
- All rights in User Data and analysis results belong to you.
- By using the Service, you grant the Company a limited, non-exclusive license to process your User Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Chapter 8 — Termination of the Service Agreement
Article 19 (Termination by the Member)
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it. Your data will be deleted within 30 days of account closure. Violation of these Terms may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
Chapter 9 — Limitation of the Company’s Liability
Article 20 (Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability)
- The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose.
- Statistical and AI-generated results are for informational purposes. The Company is not liable for decisions made based on such results.
- The Company's total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- The Company is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, or data loss.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Article 21 (Governing Law & Disputes)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In the event of a dispute, both parties shall first attempt to resolve it through mutual consultation. If consultation fails, either party may apply for mediation through the Korea Consumer Agency or the e-Commerce Mediation Committee. For litigation, the Seoul Central District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may take precedence for international users.
